Best .45-.55 Size Engine
#26
And the OS Alpha engines use that putrid oil recirculating system that causes tractability problems. Drill and tap for a fitting in the back of the engine and vent the crankcase oil to atmosphere.
Sorry to see another soul buying an OS. You could have done a LOT better than OS.

The following video is from another member running a FIRE BSE .35LX engine in an LR1. You won’t get a 4-stroke to do anything remotely close to that.

Okay, you got me. Yes there are a very small select few 4-strokes capable of doing 200mph. You’re right. But I don’t know that I could realistically group those engines in with a .35-.55 2-stroke regardless of quality/manufacturer.

I like 2-strokes better. Too easy to manipulate to get the results you want. Just boring the crankshaft can have a pronounced effect on how well the engine performs.

My Feedback: (1)
We have done almost 200 mph with YS 115 engines
YS, like JETT is in a class by itself.
Just boring the crankshaft can have a pronounced effect on how well the engine performs.
