Getting close all. Should be able to do the maiden this week or weekend depending on weather. The engine will be here today.

It looks great, looking forward to seeing it fly. Bit of a odd question but is there a separate company to makes wheels for different manufacturers? I noticed the wheels are the same as skymasters F16 1/6th wheels. Just a genuine questions I been wondering about I’m not criticising or anything.

Good day Mikey

The gear set is produced by Air Beast for T-One models, the wheels would look almost the same as all the other manufacturers as they are similar with scale appearance. Completely separate from Skymaster products.

Hope to have it in the air end of the week or weekend, weather permitting...

Thanks for the reply. That makes sense, I was just curious. Look forward to hearing about the maiden flight. Please also keep us updated on the Yak 130 and also will we hear about this new project you mentioned on the “what’s coming 2019 thread” soon?

I was thinking it’s looks between a F-16 and a F-18. It’s a really nice jet. T-One did a great job. Nothing like it on the market.

I believe that is for the hydraulic nose wheel steering. If you cut the hose you would have to bleed the system again to get all the air bubbles out.

Neat, I didn’t realize it had that. I see it now on the photo of the nose strut. Thanks!

Good day Auburn02

Yes, it is a hydraulic system. The line is long so you can place the system where you like. In this case i needed it up front for CG reasons. I suppose you can cut the lines down as long as you bleed the air out of the system but i didn't want to do that so i coiled them up. I will say the system is smooth and works very well.

Thanks

The T-50 is an amazing flying jet. Its very smooth throughout its entire flight envelope. It slows down very well and is super stable in Hi Alfa flight. The landings are easy, it gets in the groove, nose hi attitude and slows down great. The performance of the K160 is also great. I had my flight times set to about 5 mins with just under half tanks of fuel still so 6+ mins is no problem. Easy assembly at the field as the wings, stabs and vertical are plug in direct ball connection, No wires to connect. The hydraulic steering works well and is very responsive, I added some expo to tame it down a little. CG is at the factory setting of 100mm but I might push it back a little to increase the flight performance.. This is a great scale jet. The flight performance and looks are fantastic! It far surpasses and F-16 performance and I think its due to the larger LEX/Wing configuration. I Love it! Thank you Mr Kim and Mr Lee for making such an awesome scale jet of the T-50. T-Ones Models rocks!!!

Next!!!!!!! Yak-130
See you all in Florida.

It flew great but I apologise about being negative but the landing gear looks way too tall especially when it was taxiing back after landing! The real one is a lot lower and rear landing gear is spread further apart like a F16

Will you have any T-50 kits for sale at FL Jets?

Thanks

Not negative, I had 90 PSI in the gear and it fully extended it. They are Hydraulic Air/Oil olio struts so i needed to take some air pressure out, It sits proper now.

Do you have any pictures of the jet with the pressure relieved and sitting normally.

Hello all, Couple people have asked me the weight, I'm at 40.5ish Dry weight with a K160. Pretty darn good for a jet of this size.

Thanks again

For those interested, I have the K210 installed and ready to go for some flights Tomorrow. This should be a blast, haha having that extra push for all the hi angle slower power maneuvers. Will keep you all posted and try to get some video.

Had a great showing at Florida Jets. The T50 performed great, there was a lot of interest and many people asking what it was. The more I fly it the more I love it. Such a smooth flying jet and the hi AOA is super easy to hold. I was flying slow hi AOA circuits even down wind then throttle up to vertical climb outs. The 210 is super in this jet. This T50 is a game changer for sure, Nothing else like it!
More photos and video to come.
