Your pic looks like some kind of strange dual flap vane system.
That paint sure makes an optical illusion. Thanks for the clarification.

What's the story on these flaps? Are they your own design or something new from PST?

I just ordered another (this time an X version) and I was not told about any flap change.

How soon with the X nose be available for us with the older kits?

The new nose looks great & gives the jet a sleeker look - plus saves some added nose weight.

Dave, here's some dimensions that may help figure out your problem. From wing root, from rib I/B of tire, strut & retract. I did trim a little off the wheel cutouts on the inboard side - maybe 1/8"...

I had no real issues with the Dreamworks gear, but here's a couple tips...
The nose retract does need another set of holes drilled to fit the rails- no big deal.
For the mains, you need to grind...

Tank can be mounted using aluminum angle - as suggested midway thru these online instructions...
