How did you bypass the fuel solenoid valve? Isn't that what regulates the amount of fuel going to the turbine?

Fire aside, GREAT job on that modification. You are a true modeler. Me, I'm a pilot (and not a very good one at that).

PS ALWAYS balance charge a lipo.
