RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

All; thanks for the ideas. I will make some adjustments and post results.
The model flies fine with no obvious tail or nose heavy symptoms . The pitch down is totally uncomanded.

I sometime use an inverted chair. Put some foam on the two higher legs and they act as your finger.

Otherwise, do a search here for the options were you hang the plane by the target CG.

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

The short nose version came with some weight already for the nose. I needed to add heavy batteries and more weight to mine.

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

I used to fly mine with a SuperEagle, similar thrust than the cheetah. It was very impresssive how fast it could fly. However I found it make the plane too heavy. I think the cheetah will be a...

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

I used a plastic 'for sale' sign cut to size and formed as a cylinder. Added a few verticals pieces of wood from top/bottom of the skins in order to CA the plastic cylinderto it.
worked good, and...

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

I did very little crow, as I was just testing the model. Did it by eye, but i will say about 10 degrees for both flap position.
I want to wait for a less windy day to try before going up toward my...
