i have a P-120 in my reaction arf........i don't have the speed brake installed.....the idle thrust of the P-120 causes no problems during landing............

I have a P-120 in my Reaction ARF with the glow plug oriented in the same position as yours.....I haven't had any problems with it....

dave, i just thought of this.....mount up your new turbine on a test bench and experiment with different positioning of the kero-start unit.....say 9 and 3.....or try 8 and...

David,

Just a thought.....you might consider making the tail feathers removable for easier transport for those that have small vehicles.....I did it to mine and it was well worth the the extra...

i made a "U" shaped 1/4 inch plywood piece and shaped it to fit under the stabilizer flange on the fuselage....i carefully inserted 3/4 inch hardwood dowels into the stabilizer...

that's a great idea to make that battery access door....wish i would have thought of that when i was assembling mine.....

the optional metal heat shield above the turbine is a great idea....
you should include a pattern for it with the kit if the builder chooses to install it.....

i wonder if bruce will have the opportunity to inspect a few from the first batch to see if they meet his approval...........if they are anywhere near the quality of his R-54 kits then i'm getting on...
