My elevator pushrod is seeming to hold up fine, with 29 lbs thrust. Make sure you wrap the pushrod ends with CF tow though (or Aluminum tube epoxied in place) to ensure the CF tube ends do not split....

Exactly - no method to return the brake pad. I used various goodies to lube the wheels up. For the bullets, I used O-ring oil which is pretty thin. I think the o-ring is either oversized, or the hole...
