RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

Maybe "blame" is used incorrectly. Altho by your post, the "error" still exists.

Enjoy the build!

Meesh,
I had the SAME issue with the R54 ARF. I drilled two holes that allowed it to be used. Some where in the R54 ARF thread is a good picture I uploaded. Not sure who to blame.....PST or...

Goin' good! You'll like the new ride! Getting close to touching up the Monokote on the "R44" and "Over Reaction".

Won't be long now!

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

MNSI,
Great Pics! Can you tell us the weight when finished? Mine weighed 26 pounds 2oz with a P80SE before the smoke install.
Thanks

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

Spray contact cement will do well. I also added BVM hatch screws, about 4 or 5 per side "to be sure"

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

The Wren SS will help alot...BUT be careful. Weight adds up fast and at 17 pounds thrust you'll want it pretty light.

Keep us posted!

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

I'd be REAL careful about shifting ANY weight further aft. The stock location and pushrod setup is fine. Moving 3 ounces this far aft will aggravate the already tail heaviness.

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

Kraivuth,
I notice the added ply tab glued to the fuse to retain the smoke tank. Is this a late addition? Mine has only the 2 that are glued to the tank and screwed to the bulkhead. Has there...

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

I count 8 screws need to be removed to access the batteries?

What happened to the hatch?

I do like the looks though. Does the $250 price include postage to USA?

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

The 3 1/2" and 3 1/4" Intairco main wheels use the same hubs. Maybe the Pro Link struts are a bit longer thus the need to use 3 1/4" mains. Only Todd can help with exact details.</p>

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

Mike,
Intairco wheels and brakes are supplied with the Dreamworks package. 3 1/4" mains. 2 5/8" nose. I did swap out the nose for a 3" diameter one from TamJets. A slight modification to the nose...

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet

Kraivuth,
Do you mean removeable tail option for $60?

How much does the CG shift aft wihen the new smoke tank is full? Also, do you have a mounting scheme for it yet?
