And thus the plane was probably going faster than the readout indicated.
So I think an Eagle will push this plane over 150mph.

Right, so it was probably faster;). The turn was right in front of the radar operator.

Surely it's faster than 150 with the Eagle at 30lbs thrust. My old R54 kit was clocked at 142 in a turn and that's with a 13.5lb P-60.

Or you can just flip it upside down and take the measurement directly from the bottom of the wing with the plumb bob. Just don't drop it!

This is great!! Now you can have it either way, build or ARF and there is no reason to choose any other sport/trainer type jet;)
I think this thread will be one of the most active on RCU.
