I agree that we shouldn't have to & it shows that PST haven't even tried the new tank for fit in the model before shipping. Over all though I think the kit is quite well put together.

The vent pipe comes out quite easily with a little heat, I used a heat gun for shrinking platic film. Be carefull not to over do the heat & just gently twist the pipe while heating the joint.
