If a connector isn't up to the task, it will get warm or hot to the touch. That's the only real way to tell unless you measure the amp draw. It's funny when i see a gyro with 2 ec3 plugs coming out...

There rated to 2 amps, That means you can pull a little more. But there only rated to 2 amps .Fine for your RX but I wouldn't trust it for much else.

JST connectors are only good for 2 amps so I'm not sure if that's the problem. MPX and other connectors can do more amps. Just a thought.

Thanks for doing all the work you did showing us how to set up or units Tip22v. I have the Electron gear and G200 unit. Is the setup the same?
